Again, at the distance of the intended use, it would probably not be a problem. I have heard that DAO pistols tend to produce this result. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I have never shot a semiauto pistol before. Most of the rounds struck a spot about 2' lower than what I thought I was aiming at. For the distance at which this gun would be used I feel confident (already) that I could hit somebody intent on doing me or mine harm. I wasn't really trying to *aim* for most of those rounds, it was more of a point shooting exercise. But I can tell you that it wasn't hard to get a 3 or 4 inch group at about 7 -10 paces on a piece of slate roughly a foot long by a half a foot high. I didn't have an actual target to shoot at (shooting session was a spur-of-the-moment type thing) and I didn't actually *measure* the distance I was firing from or the speed of the slugs. I will try to correct that using lots of Hoppes #9 and a little TLC in a few minutes. When the last round cycled out of the chamber and the slide locked back, I could not release it using the button. The only thing that bothers me is the slide release.

I'm pretty happy with it so far! I have made an impromptu holster for it, and run one mag's worth of 115-grain Federal 'American Eagle' FMJ rounds through it. This is my first handgun and semi-auto firearm. First off, let me state that I am not an 'experienced' user when it comes to handguns or semiautos in general.
